A good example is the use of television, projectors and computer screens. On the other hand, due to the inability of the trichromatic theory to fully account for other color perceptions as well as unique colors, the Opponent process theory was proposed. This theory is based on the visual system which transfers information about color through processing the signals from the eyes rods and cones. The clashing of different cones in the wavelengths of light allows for a proficient visual system with an excellent response mechanism. A good example is the human eye (Yantis, 2014).
